Punky Reggae Party are back as part of their ongoing Dublin Castle residency- and if you missed the recent Clash Vs Jam presentation on their skankin’ and pogoin’ watch then you missed a reet punky reggae treat…mind you I’m sure you were there, it felt like half of London were in that room! A beautiful night. In case you didn’t know, Punky Reggae Party are a supercool cover band, playing the early songs of The Damned, The Jam, The Clash, The Stranglers, Ian Dury, Elvis Costello, The Ruts and Stiff Little Fingers, along with the Reggae tunes The Clash, SLF, Costello and The Ruts wrote or covered themselves. Yes I! Hospital Food – 3 piece virile punkers playing a melodic ramalama that has great tood and successfully merges Heartbreakers romanticism with a Rejects like raw oi attack. “Hospital Food welcome all people from all walks of life, all races and backgrounds to our gigs. We do not discriminate against race, religion”…Amen.. or And til 2am, DJ Fuzz– London Calling! It’s Fuzz playing a smorgasbord of bad ass dancefloor fun.
