The Ramoaners – The Bruddas 1970s classic work channelled brilliantly by a bunch guys from Scotland- not so much a tribute in fact as a calling, a ramalama revivalist labour of love..they look and sound like the 1978 Ramones (at their best ). What’s not t L-U-V? Hugh Reed and the Velvet Underpants – very pleased to welcome these Glasvegan legends to the DC tonite.. trainspotting, hangovers, nightlife in Glasgow, wearing the wrong football scarf in the wrong place… Like their 1960s near namesakes from New York City, all life is here in Hugh’s Underpants, in all it’s lurid ardonic, hilarious glory! The Underpants are a kickass band too, who shift from punk to funk via grinding Underground grunge at the drop of a banana. Brill. Denizens – hot off the shovel brand new band from the ashes of the much loved Morgellons, these chaps pack much promise The Corsairs – Gritty but tuneful punk n roll sounds… like a tougher Eddie and the Hotrods with a touch of Slaughter and the Dogs as well as referencing cool U.S stuff like Dead Boys. Bargain Bank Holiday Punk Rock Spesh! Only a fiver! Yay!!
