Kestrel Palace – Uber commercial Britpop with shiny production values/arrangements and hummable tunes…a bit of Suede, a bit of Blur, a little La’s or Cast. Joyfully jaunty like the Bluetones but also occasionally rocking out a bit like The Manics. The Kites– Built on a classic rock foundation with soaring Britpoppy melodies, tight and billowing songwriting! Classic 60s pop and equally classic 80s indie elements all in place. Fraser Morgan and the Great Catastrophes -. Beans On Toast/Jamie T type punky acoustic breeziness – with the full band it’s still acoustic, bass and drums give it a bit of oomph. ‘We’re a 4-piece acoustic-folk-punk band. Our sound is kinda like if Frank Turner, Jamie T and The Front Bottoms all had some sort of weird hairy love child with a man bun.’ Wesley David – having escaped a ‘wacky, doomsday Bible cult’ here’s a singer songwriter with an amazing story to tell in song. Crafted Americana, knowing indie rock, grinding rock and roll.
