The rules of Cello Sundays are simple:
Each act has to have a cello.
Each act has to be well good.
For the seventh edition we have, in alphabetical order:
aloisius - sampled drums under layers of synth, guitar and of course cello.
JUDE CORDNER - indie folk trio with Clari from Mary In the Junkyard on cello!
SMALL COPPER - cello vs violin
SONA KOLOYAN SE Londoner whose two recent two singles, “In the Air” and "Under My Own Gaze" have been featured on The Last Dinner Party's "Best of 2020s" compilation on 6 Music, Rough Trade Counter Culture playlist, Loud + Quiet No Shit playlist, Barbican Recommends and various independent playlists and publications.
The Trio (For Now) - A stripped back, but still loud, version of The Orchestra (For Now) with cello up front and drums and keyboards underneath
