Doors:

Dublin Castle

94 Parkway NW1 7AN London

Gig Description

South Social Band – blending elements of indie, pop, soul and reggae to create a a party hearty mix fronted by a sassy as ya like gal on vox. Not afraid to get serious with the get down when needed too. Prepare to dance. The Rogues –  Young indie band from Lincolnshire. Think The Strypes and Libertines. OH? – at the piano, rocking sampleology and low key moody songs. Elements of John Grant. Unknown Mortal Orchestra. A Sony recording artist with 1000 shows’ performing experience, launching  this ‘moody indie-pop new romanticism project ‘ calledMatted is the sound of kids brought up on the classics, creating their own evolution for the 2020s. The raw energy of AC/DC, industrial tones of Nine Inch Nails, and the avant-garde of Mr Bungle, all twisted and turned into something totally unprecedented. This concoction of influences, rarely cited by ones so young, has resulted in a familiar yet unique sound: a blend of emotion, fury, experimentation and authenticity. The band are currently crafting their debut recordings with Danny Jones and Harry Judd from pop/rockers McFly/McBusted and will be performing their first live shows in May 2024. Matted are ready to take on the world, one riff at a time. OH? – originally from the uncharted forests of Nuuksio National Park in Finland. Interesting!
