Thee Mighty St Pancras –  Twangy guitars and lots of reverb takes you into what could be a spooky Joe Meek offcut, although this definitely be a punk rock band… some mid 60s brit beat vibes – The Birds, Yardbirds, Downliners Sect etc… plus that whole post Billy Childish Kent punk tradition and something darker and deadlier of a post punk type.  Garage blues punk. Yes. Great stuff. Slender Pins – twangodelic elastic bass, scraping, scratching and zinging post punk guitar, skittering scattershot drums, all pulsing into one beautiful danceable, delectable sound for vocalist and proper frontman star type Ash Burt to express himself most wonderfully atop. A marvellous band with fabulous songs who should be massive. Their performance tonite will be. TheBigBadSad – another shit hot young band out of Bristol, hard psych influenced alt rock, sounds a bit like Bad Dog or Viagra Boys, very good work indeed.
