Max Norton is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer. Songs of hope, change, and having a good time are the central themes of his work. Max wrote, recorded, produced, and played every instrument on these debut songs. Drums will always be the anchor to his songs along with lyrics that transport the listener to a timeless place. Vocally he is known for his tasteful melodic Rock style vocals that blend so well in his sound. You can expect a high energy track from this artist as well as an emotional experience! The Skylarks are filling a gap on the London indie circuit for melodic rock in the tradition of Teenage Fanclub and REM, with nods to the Velvet Underground and 1960’s Bob Dylan. The band are gigging regularly and playing a growing number of original songs and some wilfully obscure cover versions.
