Japan, Man –  Dream pop and fractured beats with delicate melodies delivered by vocalist Letty. Sits very well with the sophistication of current artists like Jungle or tuneyeards. New EP, Keep Calm and Carry On, is about to be issued, and follows their debut album, Metropolis, which was released with Plus One Records in New York. The Mitchells – Young indie band with a sensational, sweet, sunny side up sound. And no they’re not related to Phil and Grant. (That’s an Eastenders reference for anyone under 45). This Living Wreck – a nice and gnarly garage punk duo and if you think I’m gonna reference The White Stripes and The Kills then yes I am. Junimo Jonas – A folkish female vocal that’s similar to Natalie Merchant (10,000 Maniacs) and some nice Teenage Fanclub type low slung guitar wringing. A cool combo.
