White City Vultures are a no-nonsense rock band with influences from 1970’s all the way through to last week – The Who, T-Rex, Bowie, Oasis, Killers, Foo Fighters and more – Nice! Tricky Susan – four-piece post-punk-pop outfit formed in London, Tricky Susan immediately snatch your attention with their hook-centric tunes, influenced by the likes of Queens Of The Stoneage and No Doubt and an energy hard to eclipse. Carousel – Post punk with a psychedelic sheen. Vocally it’s a Mike Skinner-esque spoken word delivery. Tunes are short sharp and to the point. Great stuff. Lee Michael Stevens – solo artist last seen playing righteous Brit Rock in The Swagger.
