Samuel Nicholson presents:
IRONS IN. THE FIRE - A Work In Progress Show
Whilst a lot has changed since the release of his last album, Birthday Suit, one thing has remained the constant - Samuel Nicholson is still making the most honest music possible, throwing caution to the wind in exchange for the deep and the personal; the broken, the ugly and the cathartic relief that this excavation brings.
The last 18 months since releasing the last album has brought a current of new experiences his way - from festival appearances around the UK (Connect Fest, Black Deer, Heartland) to industry showcases here and abroad (Wide Days & Left of The Dial), supporting a string of established artists (Fatherson, Lo Moon, Runnner, Squirrel Flower) and one particularly special evening performing to a packed out town square in Parma, Italy as part of the first edition of What Goes On Festival.
It is off the back of these visceral new experiences that Nicholson and his band have found themselves life affirmed and more inspired than ever before. With an abundance of new material born in his home studio and currently being refined with long time collaborator, Caradog Jones, Irons In The Fire offers fans an insight into this process as they perform a set of entirely new music.
