Growing up in tropical Costa Rica, his passion for music grew alongside his love of skateboarding and surfing, before moving to LA at the age of 18 to pursue his dreams in the music industry, where he had success playing guitar for pro BMXer Rick Thorne’s “Good Guys in Black” & New Born Authority and bass for Troy Brauenstein.
In 2016 he found London calling and relocated, where he also had success with his former band, The Road Atlas, in which he was frontman, until an ear injury in 2020 forced him to take a 3 year break.
The Thieves
Based in London, The Thieves have been causing noise complaints since the beginning of 2022. Inspired by rock music from the 60’s to now, the band reincarnates the balls to the wall Motörhead, Mötley Crüe, Guns N’ Roses sound while staying true to the hard rock look and lifestyle. The Thieves’ purpose is to create music that brings Rock n’ Roll to a new golden age: where stage dives, head banging and mosh pits, are mandatory in every show. With a true Rock ‘n’ Roll attitude and loud distorted guitars, The Thieves make sure you’ll go home with pain in your neck and their songs in your mind. The band consists of 4 members: Zak Layden – Guitar Vocals, Matteo Blasi – Lead Guitar, Luca Curtis – Drums and Alex Laertis – Bass.
With support from Amy Vix.
Amy Vix brings a fresh yet rootsy sound to London’s Americana music scene, blending soft-rock energy with a touch of pop sensibility. Praised by A&R Factory for her “heavy guitar” style and compared to icons like Stevie Nicks and Taylor Swift, Amy’s music resonates with heartfelt storytelling and vibrant melodies.
