Carl Marah Siren Song Tour

Doors:

The Harrison

28 Harrison St. WC1H 8JF London

Gig Description

With a guitar in his holster and a full clip of songwriting ammunition at his disposal, Carl Marah is answering the beckoning call of the wandering troubadours before him and stepping out to bring his own distinct brand of musicianship to stages far and wide across the land – on his own terms.

Having cut his teeth in the Edinburgh music scene for the past ten years, most notably co-leading psychedelic pop outfit Logan’s Close across the nation and throughout Europe, he is now cultivating his own solo venture, using it as a vehicle to realise treasured compositions he has amassed during this tenure.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Sixto Rodriguez, Donovan and Paul Simon, his songbook ranges from tender acoustic ballads to haunting electrified anthems. Exploring all musical possibilities and channeling whatever he sees fit into his music, this is a performer that demands to be heard.

With his upcoming debut single “Siren Song”, recorded at Post Electric Studio in Leith, Edinburgh, produced by Rod Jones (Idlewild, Hamish Hawk mgmt) and due for release on the 14th February 2025, Marah is heading out on the road across the UK following the single launch to promote the release. Beginning with a hometown show in Edinburgh, the tour continues through Aberdeen, Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham, London and Inverness. Full tour dates can be found at Marah’s official website.
