Fly/Kick + Psychedelic Skies + The Filthy Groove + Landspeeder

Fly/Kick – Uber catchy indie rock with a high melody quotient and plenty of light n shade, plus a grounding in foundation rock and soul influences from across the decades. All in all this is compelling stuff. There’s a possible nod to Artic Monkeys and at times The Libertines, but there’s the gravitas of late era Beatles too, and ultimately HighEyes have pretty much their own unique sound. Fab. Psychedelic Skies – artful, progressive alt rock with influence from bands such as Foo Fighters, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Royal Blood and even Rush. The Filthy Groove – cheeky hard rock veering on garagey rock roll…really beautifully daft in its nigh on Crème Brûlée like kookiness, but done so very well. Charming , catchy and cool.
