Elsewhere they get on a quiet ‘80s indie jangly tip, even a tad folky, a la The Sundays. Lot going on. Fine band. L’Extravagante – high octane, moderne glam, with some hard rock gutsiness and a little rap rock crossover pop appeal. In yer face, theatrical and very, very kick ass! The Magnetic Gems – to open, contrastingly, these guys and gal plough a more Americana tinged semi acoustic pop rock furrow, with a hint of REM, but also a bit of Bowie like edge amidst the alluring song craft of frontman Kieron Hunter.
