Opening the show for us with the floor spot:
APRIL, 72, can sing and hold her breath under water for 3 minutes 42 seconds. An emerging performance poet, she recently found the courage to delve into aspects of her life that caused shame and exposed vulnerability. Powerful, tough, uplifting and sometimes funny!

ICYKAL (pronounced Icicle) is a Rapper, Poet, Filmmaker, and Artist from South East London. Co-founder of SE London Pride and South London Film Festival Winner 2024 for Well Proud—a mini docuseries exploring the impact of mental health through a queer intersectional lens, Icykal has been captivating audiences in the UK, France, Germany, and Spain for over a decade. Her powerful performances blend raw lyricism with visual storytelling, leaving a lasting impression

Chuck SJ is DIY folk punk musician and a multidisciplinary artist, with a focus on music and words as a tool to explore and express around social political issues, specifically on the trans revolution. This Punk Powerhouse is well known for their intoxicating stage performance, unique guitar skills and unapologetic honesty. Coming through the grassroots and activism scenes, Chuck has exploded across stages across the UK and overseas completing 17 tours.
They’ve self produced 15 albums, 2 EPs and are currently in the process of launching a Kickstarter to release their new album – a project where they will be travelling the UK canals while making music on their narrow boat with their dog.
