Returning for its third edition in this year, Summer Of Psych will run June-Sept 2025: a new music festival series celebrating psychedelia, 60s subculture, immersive sounds and ethereal beauty in music.
Hutch
The colourful, kaleidoscopic sounds of Brighton jangle-psych band Hutch are suffused with whimsy and a desire to break free from the mundane. Setting their stall on celebrating the wonders of the natural world and their own giddying adventures within it, snails, rainbows, wintry lakes and radiator shops rank high among the band's subject matters of choice.
Frances Mistry
With her third EP Frances has stepped into an exciting year filled with new music, live shows, and deeper connections with her audience - sharing personal stories about her life and experiences, including her journey with autism. Inspired by the gentle honesty of artists like Clairo, Faye Webster, and Beabadoobee, her songs feel personal yet familiar - little moments wrapped in melody.
Birds Flying Backwards
Their sonic tapestry is diverse and experimental, weaving together influences from 70s folk, spiritual jazz, and neo-psychedelia. However, the distinctive thread that binds their sound together is Sanders's transcendental lyricism and his melancholic, yet hopeful perspective.
