Eliza Delf & The Wilderness with a new single, Don’t Love Me Lightly, just emerged , are a fascinating proposition. A great song it is too, a darkly brooding and untamed slice of gothic folk rock with an indie heart. It provides a taste of what to expect from their new album Feast. The iii’s –  indie rock with a soupcon of Grunge and Punk but also a touch of shoegaze, sorta reminiscent of ‘90s lurchgaze heroes Swervedriver in places…The Cellar Doors- Hooky indie pop with some neat harmonies and bright and breezy guitar lines shored up by a musically tight yet loose limbed  rhythm section. Lee Michael Stevens – excellent singer songwriter tapping into Brit Rock greats (The Gallaghers, The Verve, Stevie Marriot etc) but very much his own man.
