Gig Description

The Magnetic Charms  – folk and country and alt Americana touches via some astute song craft and a fizzing pop sensibility. For fans of REM, Souled American, The Byrds. Paper Anthem –  Weeving a crafty cross between Radiohead, Pixies, and LCD Soundsystem! Sprightly indie pop with hooky driving guitar which jangles and twangs most pleasingly, we also hear the influence of very early R.E.M. Family Of Noise– Two piece dealing post rock instrumentals, Explosions in The Sky Trans Am that sorta thing, stirring atmos drenched tunes… Nell Davies – Nell Davies started making music in lockdown, after reading Viv Albertine’s autobiography inspired her to buy a guitar and write her first song. Her music, influenced by post-punk pop and riot grrrl, has been described as ‘bubblegum punk’. She lives in wild West Cornwall, and records her songs in an old pigsty. (It’s nicer than it sounds, but not much.)
