Akari blends the boundaries between Soul, Neo- jazz, and 70’s pop to create a powerful, moving sound with deep-rooted groove, captivating harmony and catchy melodies  taking inspiration from Bill Withers and Marvin Gaye to contemporary artists such as Michael Kiwanuka. Ethan Beer –  idiosyncratic and original singer vocally a bit redolent of Gary Lightbody. Recogniser – Hyperactive rock three-piece, Recogniser , brings energy, romance and chaos to the table, alongside their own brew of hectic noise.
