THE ‘OO – London’s ace new Who tribute band formed by three members of the Trembling Wilburys: singer & acoustic guitarist Andy McNish, bassist Marko Laver and drummer Dave Stark, along with lead guitarist Memphis Foley and keyboard/synth player Rebecca Turner. The band pays tribute to the classic line-up of Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle and Keith Moon, from early hits like Can’t Explain, Substitute and My Generation to I Can See For Miles, The Seeker, tracks from Tommy and Quadrophenia up to classics like Baba O’Riley and Won’t Get Fooled Again and more. Drummer Dave Stark says, “I’ve seen The Who around 300 times since 1967 and they’ll always be my number one live band. Come down and enjoy our extremely authentic versions of Pete Townshend’s incredible songs.” Ronnie Golden – in support today… there are fabulous poodles (see Crufts, old Eastenders) and then there were Fabulous Poodles…Ronnie Golden was that Poodle, and is still Fabulous.
