Slow Cooked and Windmill Brixton present

CELLO SUNDAYS - an irregular regular night celebrating the magnificent cello and adjacent instruments. This time featuring:

SONA KOLOYAN is an Armenian-British singer-songwriter based in London, whose music unfolds across intimate DIY beginnings and richly orchestrated transformations..including a cello!

ANY YOUNG MECHANIC (Australia) - super-fresh alt-folk quintet on the their first visit to the Uk but we reckon the next time they are over they'll be playing much bigger venues. Comparisons have been made to Wilco, Fleet Foxes and Big Thief but there's a energy and emotion to their work that makes them sound quite like no one else; judge for yourself by listening to their double A-side single here.

KRISTINA RHODES - mesmerising cellist and vocalist who as well as gathering a reputation for her live performances has also contributed to albums by Wu-Lu and jade as well as to the soundtrack of the BBC series What It feels Like For A Girl
