Gig Description

There is something magnetic in the unfinished, immature and visceral — it is here that Jacque Falcheti, Brazilian singer, songwriter and nomadic artist, finds her voice. Why wait for a “perfect moment” when such a moment might never come? The process becomes beautiful precisely through its imperfections, through the raw edges, silences and hesitations. That is the spirit she brings to her solo CRUA concert (meaning “raw”).

The CRUA concert by Jacque Falcheti is more than a performance — it is a mirror held up to our own becoming. Between delicately hand-picked chords and a voice close enough to whisper in the ear, silence becomes an instrument in itself. The show is an invitation to pause, to reflect, and to recognise how beauty arises not despite imperfection but because of it.

Jacque Falcheti is a Brazilian singer and songwriter with six acclaimed albums, more than 100 concerts worldwide, and tours across 16 countries in Europe, Africa and Latin America. Her work has reached wide audiences on digital platforms with more than 500,000 plays, and she has become recognised as one of the most expressive voices of the new generation of Brazilian music.

Rooted in the richness of Brazilian rhythms — bossa nova, samba, baião and others — Jacque Falcheti blends her own poetry and compositions with interpretations of celebrated artists such as Adriana Calcanhotto and Dona Ivone Lara, alongside international voices like Norah Jones and Natalia Lafourcade. In CRUA’s stripped-down format of just voice and guitar, she brings intimacy, raw emotion and honesty to every performance.

The CRUA concert embraces the cracks, the half-formed ideas, the breathing pauses — affirming that waiting for perfect timing is a myth, and that what sings most deeply is the courage to begin. Through Jacque Falcheti’s Brazilian music, the evening becomes an intimate journey into authenticity, fragility and human connection.
