The Fallen Leaves + Superminx70 + The Problem Tenants + DJ

(Matinee Show 1.45pm) The Fallen Leaves – Dublin Castle stalwarts and then some – ‘Punk Rock for Gentlemen’, that’s the legend, and that’s ‘60s garage as much as ‘70s youth club by the by. With a plethora of superb albums, and a louche, urbane style done out in classy threads (no jeans! no tee shirts! no trainers!), these  chaps create a cool, rocking party with such nonchalant ease you almost forget you’re having such a great time so effortlessly! An afternoon of Minimum RnB to swoon by. Superminx70 – This wonderful outfit don’t do that many live shows, so you’re in for a massive treat this afternoon. Back in 1878 when Bugbear first put them on we said ‘Dexys meet Bowie meet The Small Faces– an- interesting act’- well, maybe…suffice to say they are purveyors of some kinky crafted kooky pop rock with a punky tinge and a modernist hinge… The Problem Tenants – fantastic scrappy and scrappin’ punk n roll that manages to sound both like The Stooges and Wire at the same time. Now that’s a neat trick, in fact it’s 100% PTs come to think of it.Very nifty.
