Gig Description

No Feelings – Authentic punk and sleazy new new wave from London, playing it loose and low slung, but whatcha expect from a band named after a monster Sex Pistols song?! With star front gal Sara – Vocals, Nigel (ex Fast Cars) – Guitar, OPG – Bass, Clive (ex Influence UK) Drums- for fans also of The Stooges, Destroy All Monsters, Patti Smith, early Damned. The Prods – there might be a bit of early Damned in The Prods too. Tempered with some louche indie rock sensibilities, albeit all thru a punk rock lens, and a very entertaining one at that. Hilarious (and well crafted) songs at times, but fear ye not, they’re not a ‘comedy band’. The Prods rock. The Hollows – Blimey what a racket! A bloody beautiful racket. No MES impersonation thankfully but I’m reminded of the rough hewn experimentation of early 80s Fall. Also The Birthday Party and Big Black. Lots of wailing double vocals, hammering drums, squalling guitars … yes! “post-punk / emo three piece”- yes!EVENING SHOW ticketed SEPARATELY HERE https://wegottickets.com/event/693154/ Dear Boy and the Noise – young band performing cranked up rhythm n blues and punk infected hard rock/garage rock, with the speed and post Stooges intensity of the first Damned (again!!) album and the indie swagger of Jet. Rip roaring stuff.  Three Mile Island – a band that has developed a distinctive sound that combines Rock n Roll and the British Indie scene. Their songs feature catchy hooks, emotive lyrics, big choruses and powerful arrangements Escapist – post punk psychedelic duo deconstructing lots of interesting covers and some sparky original songs too. DJ Sammi Starr til 2am
