Gig Description

Headcase – full on, frantic punky indie with a suitably nutty frontman and superb, committed performances all round. Quite a bit of early Blur in there maybe, the more visceral end at least – see also the cranked up rhythm n booze end of late seventies stuff like the Hot Rods or even Slaughter and the Dogs. Excellent fun.  Were very pleased to announce a special performance tonight by legendary Argentinian punk band Flema. Hailing from Avellaneda, Buenos Aires, founded by Juan Manuel Fandiño and the late Ricky Espinosa. The band resumed activity in 2007 with Fernando Rossi (the group’s bassist) as the singer. Bucktail – If you love the nostalgic rich atmospheric high energy tones of 90’s alternative bands pavement, the pixies, sonic youth and the flaming lips then bucktail is exactly what you need! Blending the 90s alternative inspiration with contemporary post punk, bucktail’s stoner rock presence and catchy melodies will get you moving! CutflowersBrighton four-piece  catchy tunes played with conviction with plays on BBC Introducing, for fans of, Fontaines D.C. / Inhaler / RadioheadBucktail – If you love the nostalgic rich atmospheric high energy tones of 90’s alternative bands pavement, the pixies, sonic youth and the flaming lips then bucktail is exactly what you need! Blending the 90s alternative inspiration with contemporary post punk, bucktail’s stoner rock presence and catchy melodies will get you moving! Mental Issues – opening band tonite on this mini festival of punk, indie and rocknroll is this Anglo Spanish tour de force – or should I say Hazana de Fuerza? – playing excellent fast pace old school punk rock with joyful, comedic attitude and proper pogo friendly energy. Ace.
