EMOM – Electronic musicians welcome!  To pre-book your open mic slot  laurie@laurieblack.co.uk.  Or simply arrive at 6:30pm with minimal set up.  All sets 10-20 mins.  The only rule is no acoustic guitars unless they’re generating soundscapes or electronic music in-keeping with these nights. Hosted by electronic music enthusiast, synthstar and “lovechild of Victoria Wood and Gary Numan” Laurie Black.  She’s toured around the world with her synth-history show Deadly Synths, and toured solo original music sets with Adam Ant and Professor Elemental.  Her 2026 album Noisebleed was recorded at the renowned Townshend Studio with an arsenal of out-of-this-world vintage synths. Curated headline slot TBA, part of ‘Bad Luck Synth Club’ each month!  First Wednesday of the month at the legendary Dublin Castle.
