The first quarter final of the tournament, and not one England can be involved in (their potential quarter final, if they progress, falls a day or two later). This match kicks off at 9pm UK time at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, just outside Boston.

Predicting the exact matchup is still guesswork after only one round of group games, but the picture is starting to take shape. Strong starts from France (3 to 1 vs Senegal), Argentina (3 to 0 vs Algeria) and Norway (4 to 1 vs Iraq) suggest they will be in the conversation, while tournament favourites Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Belgium and Netherlands all dropped points in their openers and have work to do.
