Sadly our Skapones show, which should have been last night, came unstuck due to some members going AWOL… front Skapone, vocalist and force of nature Paul Willo /Williams won’t let that hinder him though, and will be unveiling his book about The Specials for a unique RNR Book Club event this afternoon. Also a band who suffered a few ruptures in the personnel department over the years! Paul is super well placed to write about this subject, as he’s an insider with the band and knows the subject inside out. There will be an interview and Q and A on stage prior to some special guests hitting the stage, and copies of  ‘You’re Wondering Now – The Specials, An Encore’ will be on sale. Buy one. Buy two. And take time to kick some butt in the Dublin Castle to boot. Transversely, DAFNIS are a French rock band – sort of in the Coldplay/ Keene zone but with gallons of glorious Gallic charm. More robust, more rootsy, more rocking. Good band.
