Ditch The Demon – seasoned countercultural folk/prog with a snappy pop rock feel plus an old school rawk touch,  but light on its feet too care of a kick ass 4 to the floor beat and some assured soloing. Bands like this are rare as hen’s dentists these days, so jump on yer Custom 750 with yer lady / gentleman on the back and groove off to the Dublin Castle for some Bank Holiday freak out power. Viewed Upon Death – powerful deep and darkly deviant alt rock with a hint of Neo psych and shoe gaze but a hell of a lot of  noize rock intensity. The Hush Tones – Scally Pop and indie rock with a bit of a jangle and a lot of post Stone Roses swagger. Beautifully crafted songs that also occasionally explode with punky abandon.
