Tom O C Wilson Album Launch & The Magic Lantern

A special night to launch Tom O C Wilson’s new album “Hearing Planes”, featuring a trio set from Tom and a solo show from The Magic Lantern. Tom O C Wilson is a London-based creator of colourful, exuberant pop music. His songs hit the sweet spot between melodic immediacy and surprise, creating an exhilarating sonic pleasure reminiscent of artists such as XTC, Joe Jackson and early Prefab Sprout. Tonight he will be performing with a trio: Michael Hill (vocals), Tom O C Wilson (guitar/vocals) and Steven Troughton (keyboard/vocals).

The Magic Lantern is the stage name of Australian singer songwriter Jamie Doe. His songs blend aspects of jazz and folk, delivered with an emotional honesty that invites the audience to share moments of extreme poignancy. Tonight he will perform a rare solo set.
