Ben P Williams

Ben P Williams is a Manchester based singer songwriter known for blending folk, acoustic and soul, with songwriting often compared to Paul Simon and the laid back feel of Jack Johnson. His music has had airplay on BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing, and as a guitarist he has played support slots for Nile Rodgers and Chic, Will Young, Mick Hucknall and Lisa Stansfield, including shows on European tours and at South By South West in Texas.

Since his debut album Who Do You Think You Are? in 2015, he has released Put It On Ice (2017), Minimum of Fuss (2019), Under The Radar (2023) and Benthusiasm (2024), plus the Son of William EP with Hayley Williams (Hayla). A collaboration with Frameworks has passed 700,000 streams, and he has also performed with the Manchester Camerata orchestra. Tonight’s show marks the launch of his new album, Sing Your Own Melody.

Fionnuala Mary Bradbury is a singer songwriter from Manchester whose sound is rooted in the local Irish traditional folk scene she grew up in, alongside a later found love of jazz. She writes and performs on guitar, piano and violin, drawing on real life, film and her university studies in archaeology for inspiration. Her recordings of traditional folk songs, made with Michael McGoldrick, have been played on BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Radio 2’s Folk Show, and she learned traditional songs from Ríoghnach Connolly.
