Headcase – possibly named with the whacky rocknroll antics of the highly entertaining singer in mind, or perhaps because they’re packed full of nutritious riffs, this band bridge Britpop, punk and alt rock and give an ace party performance. Irene – fabulous Freach alt-rock two-piece featuring slowburning tunes in the vein of Radiohead, also shades of Dinosaur Jr and Sonic Youth, et bien marche. Mechanicals –
