Theme Team- Jazzed up swinging renditions of all yer fave rave TV and movie themes lovingly perpetuated…Book Em Danno, Who Luvs Ya Baby and Goodnight From Him…..Duke Street Big Band- As the name suggests it’s a big band orchestra (literally- in fact amahoosive one- hope we can get em all on ir at least around the stage!) , sounding a bit like the classic Ray Charles Orchestra or Quincy Jones circa Big Band Bossa Nova…. Amazing work as you’d expect, performed by seasoned players who can really swing but have the requisite lightness of touch on the more reflective passages. Wonderful. King Cassady- a hot trio featuring 2 guitars and cajun playing what sounds like Greek cum Latino folk music, all instrumental, a great opener for a swish night with a difference.
