Making Friends + Open Palms + Cutting Ties + Harry Nolan-Hampson

Doors:

Dublin Castle

94 Parkway NW1 7AN London

Gig Description

Making Friends – fast and fresh melodic Skate Punk outta Brighton. From the Inlit Records roster, a superb outlet for ramalama inspired young talent.  Open Palms – High energy pop punk with some emo touches, and post grunge alt rock attack aplenty, as evinced by their debut single ‘New Fiction’, launched tonight.  Cutting Ties–  Also outta Brighton, and in a punk/emo stylistic form…although they do enigmatically flag themselves up as ‘the only punk /emo band who aren’t emo or punk’!…fun seeking buzzsaw pop. Harry Nolan-Hampson – superb young singer songwriter with a very impressive guitar style and a bit of urban folk nous about his songcraft, informed perhaps by Ray Davies, Damon Albarn and Pete Doherty.
