Gig Description

Taurus Trakker – this sassy punk and roots rock and roll informed guy/gal duo have been in the studio with Mick Jones of The Clash and channel a kind of West London punk heritage take on The White Stripes template. Vital rocking fare with bags of great attitude. Deft Left Hand –  part nineties flavoured indie classique, part grinding schlock rock- so I guess we could compare these coves to Primal Scream– well ish…thankfully no Blobby I mean Bobby, rather a great female singer. And everything rocks quite nicely…Blondie, Sleeper, Transmission Vamp. Elsewhere they get quite 1980s indie jangly, even a tad folk thing going, which could please fans of 10,000 Maniacs. Yup. Amaya and the Echoes – Defy genres with their bold fusion of orchestral dark pop, gritty rock, and electronic textures. Cinematic and unapologetically original, their music is unlike anything you’ve heard before. Each performance is a journey—intense, thought-provoking, and unforgettable.   Sawyer –   Solo artist playing hipster geeky, yet uber charming indie rock, with frantic beats and a warped pop appeal. Pretty darn good. Sawyer is blending the cultures of his former hometowns (Miami and LA.) So now must surely be adding London to the blend! His style draws comparisons to Dominic Fike and Ekkstacy. We dig. With two new EPs about to drop, including a rather scintillating sync deal with KPM under Sony. An artist to watch then.
