A Suffolk-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Rosalie Bevan has been crafting her unique sound since she was 15. Her music fuses intricate, jazz-inflected guitar work with soulful, soaring vocals, drawing from genres like pop, folk, rock, and jazz.
Rosalie has performed at major UK festivals, including Glastonbury and The Big Chill, and has graced stages across Southeast Asia. A fixture on the London music scene, she’s captivated audiences at iconic venues such as The Bedford, The Green Note, and Hoxton Underbelly.
Rosalie’s musical influences include renowned British folk guitarists Bert Jansch, Davey Graham, and John Renbourn. She has collaborated with guitarist Dariush Kanani, who has performed with figures like Renbourn, Wizz Jones, Stefan Grossman, and Clive Carroll. Kanani participated in tribute concerts at Cecil Sharp House, honoring Davey Graham in 2009 and John Renbourn in 2015, alongside artists such as Jacqui McShee, Ralph McTell, Bernard Butler, and Graham Coxon.
