Ides Of Sedition – Chris Bashford, original member of the seminal punk band Chelsea, and keyboardist/ arranger Caralinda Booth (Shakespears Sister, Thompson Twins, Deborah Harry) plus bassist John Forrester (The Colour Mary, Nozzle), to form The Ides of Sedition. New drummer Johnny Lunn completes the circle.  Their debut album Perfection Is Overrated was released just came out. Expect perfect pop with balls, a whiff of the old New Wave and all nicely coloured with indie electronica. JC and the Great Plague –  raw, punky…and garagey, yes. A bit of that Libertines/Baby Shambles rancorous ramshackle rocknroll poetic thing for sure. Good shit. Guru Honey Badger – Emily and Rachel comprise this performance art come punk theatre come angst horror rock conceptual marvel. You’ll also know Rachel as Madame Crumpet of course, burlesque supreme of RocknRoll Cabaret.
