Lullaby Riot – as they say themselves, a kind of love child of the Stooges and early Sabbath. What a beautiful baby. “Wild and punk but with a slightly heavy edge in places”…not half. Jaded Jester – alt-rock/numetal bad asses. Bluesy tinges to the fiery, female lead vocal. Good n groovy crunch to the music. Stonking. Lyla Nova – Perky and commercial female fronted metal band with plenty of pop suss.  She’s got a good strong voice and the tubes are thoughtfully arranged, with plenty of commercial capacity. Ancient Unknown – Powerful and slightly out there progressive heaviosity. Loud and metallic and groove laden with some dark vibes but a hint of humour and humility.
