Arna Rox and The Truckstops are an original blues band from Melbourne, Australia, led by fierce front woman Arna Rox. Famous for her high energy, unpolished, unapologetic stage presence, Rox commands the space with her equally raw husky vocals.  Rox is a force to be reckoned with. Having spent the past 7 years as lead singer of international rock band Trainwreck Trio, she now brings her wine soaked, tobacco fuelled vocals to the genre she was made for, the blues. Enter The Truckstops, where co-writers and collaborators Chris Canning (harp/sax) and Steve Basenfelder (guitar) support Rox’s explosive vocals with an honest, earthy sound Caskets-London four piece straddling metal, doom and grunge. Think thick, dripping slabs of Alice in Chains swagger punctuated by bursts of High on Fire aggression. Snarling vocals battle blistering guitar riffs as monolithic bass licks grind out an unstoppable path beneath a punishing volley of drums. Nothin2Heavy….a plethora of angst, confusion, drama, and free expression.  Their crunchy riffs varying from a punk edge to melancholy rage gives a grunge experience for almost everybody besides the most delicate of snowflakes. Hunted By Elephants-Inspired by the rock classics of the 70s, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep and Rainbow Hunted By Elephants are a high-energy trio renewing the time-honoured union of soaring vocals, growling riffs and energising drum beats.
