Gig Description

South Social Band – tuneful and upbeat pop reggae concoction with female singer. A light soufflé of gorgeous pop, with beefy rhythms complementing the meal. The enigmatic Tanya upfront, singer and songwriter, channelling “fetishization and microaggressions received from men, the one night stands you want to remember (not the one’s you want to forget) and your partners ex who keeps popping up and liking their Instagram posts….” Deylise – Another excellent female songwriter. A French chauntesse with full rocking band bringing together contemporary rock pop texture and classic French Ye Ye Girls vibes very well. Great voice, cool delivery. Good songs, sung in French with a smattering of English. ‘Flemme’ being her latest big number. Adonaiah – blues and soul and a bit of ‘60s rock/pop portrayed by this expressive young vocalist and his band. Covers taken in from people as diverse as The Doors, Otis Redding and Prince.
